Robin Singh, Zürich, Switzerland

Robin founded the Love Kare Trust Foundation after losing his wife (Leena Kalyani) to Cancer in 2015. The name of the foundation is also inspired by her initials.

After her untimely death, Robin was on a quest for meaning in life. In this time, the idea of the foundation was born. The foundation aims to support the families fighting Cancer in any way possible that may alleviate the pain ever so slightly. Robin derives inspiration from his own experience and the stories of the families. In his words, “I spent my best moments with Leena only after finding out the finiteness of her life”. For this reason, LKT humbly strives to add these moments to the lives of the affected families under LKT umbrella.

In his day job, Robin is an experienced Business & Data Analyst working for sourcing and integration of ESG Data to build advisory and regulatory reporting solutions for large financial organisations.

Swati Matta, Toronto, Canada

Swati is a Digital Product Management executive by profession and a young mother to an adventurous little girl in her personal life.

Having lost her young brother to Cancer, Swati deeply understands the enormous physical & emotional challenges faced by the patients and their loved ones during the treatment and the rehabilitation phase. Swati is inspired by the support provided by LKT to families that are going through a very difficult time in their life.

At LKT, Swati is a key Advisory board member with voting authority in selection of patients, media & public communication and key policy amendments.

Shashank Singh, Washington D.C, USA

Shashank is a Harvard educated Sustainable Finance professional working on creating financial systems that prioritize long-term prosperity of our planet. He currently works with the conservation NGO World Wide Fund (WWF). He is based in Washington DC where he lives with his wife and daughter.

Shashank’s association with LKT is inspired by Leena & Robin – LKT’s founder – and their incredible journey of courage and resilience through Leena’s fight against Lung Cancer. At LKT, Shashank is a key Advisory board member with voting authority in selection of patients, approving reports, key policy amendments and the like.
